Instrument Assembler Job Description

At TA Instruments, we are seeking a skilled Instrument Assembler to join our team. As an Instrument Assembler, you will play a critical role in the assembly and testing of our high-performance analytical instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test a variety of mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical instruments and sub-assemblies
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and electronic test devices to assemble and conduct preliminary tests on small assemblies
  • Troubleshoot and repair sub-assemblies and instruments
  • Follow established procedures and processes
  • Participate in Lean process improvement programs
Requirements:
  • Ability to read blueprints, follow written procedures and drawings, and verbal instructions
  • General knowledge of PC/Computers
  • Ability to work interdependently in team settings to accomplish goals
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and draw from past experiences, skills, and knowledge to assemble and resolve problems
