Responsibilities:
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair analytical instruments, including accessories and service parts, to establish specifications and test procedures.
  • Analyze instrument test data and evaluate performance according to established specifications and test procedures, maintaining accurate records for later analysis.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical work, including rework as needed, to ensure optimal instrument performance.
  • Prepare instruments for final shipment, including configuration and pack-up.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in electronics, electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or a closely related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Direct experience working with digital and analog circuits.
  • Knowledge of PC-based instrument control and data analysis.
  • Ability to think critically and resolve complex issues and non-routine problems.
  • Strong ability to work independently.
