Responsibilities:- Test, troubleshoot, and repair analytical instruments, including accessories and service parts, to establish specifications and test procedures.
- Analyze instrument test data and evaluate performance according to established specifications and test procedures, maintaining accurate records for later analysis.
- Perform mechanical and electrical work, including rework as needed, to ensure optimal instrument performance.
- Prepare instruments for final shipment, including configuration and pack-up.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties assigned by management.
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in electronics, electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or a closely related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Direct experience working with digital and analog circuits.
- Knowledge of PC-based instrument control and data analysis.
- Ability to think critically and resolve complex issues and non-routine problems.
- Strong ability to work independently.
