Nesco Resource is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler in New Milford, CT. This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate. Schedule is: Monday- Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (OT is Possible). Must be able to work overtime when required. Pay is $18.00-$21.00/hour depending on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Complete general assembly and installation of electro-mechanical components for large transformers.
  • Assist with building the entire unit as a team.
  • Install and assemble complex electro-mechanical components once trained.
  • Utilize shears to bend and bracket wires.
  • Use other various small hand tools to complete soldering as well as sanding/grinding materials.
  • Document parts, changes and procedures as necessary.
  • Fill out checklist for QC.
  • Make changes to layout and assembly at the discretion of management.
  • Keep work area clean at all times.
  • Rotate various positions within production to learn a wide variety of skills and processes.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Previous electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred.
  • General electrical wiring experience preferred.
  • Experience using hand tools and various machines/equipment.
  • Must be able to use and read square levels and tape measures.
  • Must be able to work well within a team environment.
  • Ability to stand and/or kneel for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
