Nesco Resource is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler in New Milford, CT

This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (OT is Possible)

Must be able to work overtime when required.

Pay is $18.00-$21.00/hour depending on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Complete general assembly and installation of electro-mechanical components for large transformers.

Assist with building the entire unit as a team.

Install and assemble complex electro-mechanical components once trained.

Utilize shears to bend and bracket wires.

Use other various small hand tools to complete soldering as well as sanding/grinding materials.

Document parts, changes and procedures as necessary.

Fill out checklist for QC.

Make changes to layout and assembly at the discretion of management.

Keep work area clean at all times.

Rotate various positions within production to learn a wide variety of skills and processes.

Requirements:

Previous electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred.

General electrical wiring experience preferred.

Experience using hand tools and various machines/equipment.

Must be able to use and read square levels and tape measures.

Must be able to work well within a team environment.

Ability to stand and/or kneel for long periods.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
