Instrument Assembler Job Description

At TA Instruments, we are seeking a skilled Instrument Assembler to join our team. As an Instrument Assembler, you will play a critical role in the assembly and testing of our high-performance instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test a variety of mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical instruments and sub-assemblies
  • Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Participate in Lean process improvement programs to drive efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as electro-mechanical assembly or manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles, including blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
