Electro-Mechanical Assembler Job Summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team in New Milford, CT. This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install electro-mechanical components for large transformers
  • Collaborate with a team to build the entire unit
  • Install and assemble complex electro-mechanical components once trained
  • Utilize shears to bend and bracket wires
  • Use various small hand tools for soldering and sanding/grinding materials
  • Document parts, changes, and procedures as necessary
  • Fulfill quality control checklists
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred
  • General electrical wiring experience preferred
  • Ability to use and read square levels and tape measures
  • Capacity to work well within a team environment
  • Ability to stand and/or kneel for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
