About the Position

The Advancement Assistant - Leadership Gifts is a part-time, casual position that offers the opportunity to work closely with senior development officers to support leadership giving efforts. As an Advancement Assistant, you will provide critical administrative support to the Director of Leadership Gifts, including data entry, research, and event planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Leadership Gifts, including data entry, research, and event planning.
  • Work closely with senior development officers to develop strategies for increasing leadership gifts from alumni, parents, and friends.
  • Assist with travel and event calendars, coordinate on- and off-campus events, and prepare meeting materials.
  • Manage data projects, including LinkedIn searches and maintaining accurate contact information.
  • Engage internal and external constituents via phone, email, and in person.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years related experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
  • Sensitivity to issues of confidentiality and a commitment to working in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Salary and Benefits

This is a part-time, three-year term position with a competitive salary range of $21.78-$24.58 per hour, commensurate with experience. There are no benefits associated with this position.
