Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Specialist II to join our team at Washington County, OR. As an Administrative Specialist II, you will provide administrative support to our department, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to department staff, including answering phones, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and events.
  • Prepare and process documents, reports, and other materials as needed.
  • Provide technical support for departmental software and systems.
  • Assist with special projects and events as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Three years of experience in administrative support or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with departmental software and systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a government or public sector setting.
  • Knowledge of Washington County's policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
