Job Summary:

The Washington County District Attorney's Office is seeking a Legal Specialist I/II to join their Criminal Prosecution Data Integrity team. The ideal candidate will prioritize attention to detail and recognize the importance of accuracy in a high-volume workload. They will be adept at handling a fast-paced environment and can successfully multi-task and re-prioritize work based on changing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Retrieve criminal case reports from multiple record management systems
Process court orders and update the DA's case management system after court appearances
Manage case notifications received electronically from the court, law enforcement agencies, defense attorneys, and other public entities
Virtually attend court appearances to enter data contemporaneously with the court proceeding

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Three to four years of experience providing administrative or clerical support, with two years in a legal support role in a law office or with a focus on legal issues
Ability to pass a criminal history background investigation
