Manufacturing Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative to join our team at Behind the Design. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for expanding our presence in the Southwest market, focusing on Texas and other key regions. You will work closely with our Territory Sales Manager to develop and execute a market strategy, service existing accounts, establish new accounts, and develop new distribution channels across the Southwest.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a market strategy to expand our presence in the Southwest market
• Service existing accounts, establish new accounts, and develop new distribution channels across the Southwest
• Work closely with our Territory Sales Manager to achieve sales goals and objectives
• Utilize leading-edge data, information systems, metrics, financial, brand, and shopper trends to maximize market share, sales, and profits through price optimization
Requirements:
• 2+ years of sales experience within the industry of Window Coverings or a similar industry
• Experience selling B2B to a manufacturer or fabricator
• Experience covering large territories from the ground up while given little to no portfolio of business
• Experience with CRM software and PC literacy
• Strong phone and virtual presence with an ability to build rapport through those mechanisms

Travel Requirements:
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Southwest region, including Texas, Arizona, and California
• Ability to obtain a passport if not possessed already
