Job Title: Resident Desk Clerk

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Resident Desk Clerk to join our team at a nonprofit client located in San Jose. This contract opportunity will be 100% onsite, with both full-time and part-time shifts available.

Job Summary:

The Resident Desk Clerk will be responsible for providing exceptional clerical support to our client's program participants at their interim housing shelter site. This role will involve assisting individuals coming into the site, checking them in/out, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for filing, scanning, and performing other administrative duties as needed.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in an administrative/clerical position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations
Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work well with others and provide a welcoming environment
  • Can multitask throughout the day and prioritize tasks as needed
  • Compassion and empathy for others
Compensation:

$20.00 to $24.00 per hour
