Resident Desk Clerk Position

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly organized and compassionate Resident Desk Clerk to join our team at our nonprofit client's interim housing shelter site in San Jose. This contract opportunity will be 100% onsite, with both full-time and part-time shifts available.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clerical support to program participants, including checking them in/out and ensuring necessary paperwork is completed.
- Assist with filing, scanning, and performing other administrative duties as needed.
- Work effectively with vulnerable populations, including individuals experiencing mental health and substance abuse ailments.
- Minimum 1 year experience in an administrative/clerical position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work well with others and provide a welcoming environment.
- Can multitask throughout the day and prioritize tasks as needed.
- Compassion and empathy for others.
$20.00 to $24.00 per hour.
