Overview

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for directing and managing the execution of all phases of facilities-related construction initiatives. This role involves overseeing project design and construction activities, assessing contractor performance, coordinating with on-site personnel, and managing project change requests effectively.

Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must be U.S. citizens and possess a current, adjudicated, and active TS/SCI security clearance along with a Full-Scope polygraph.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee project design and construction activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and daily operations.
  • Evaluate and manage the performance of construction contractors.
  • Coordinate project activities with field teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Assess and manage project change requests, ensuring proper validation and documentation.
  • Provide comprehensive weekly project status updates.
  • Prepare and disseminate project communications to stakeholders, management, and integrated project teams.
  • Support the client's Contracting Officer (CO) and Technical Representative (COTR) in acquisition planning and administration.
  • Assist in conducting pre-bid and pre-construction site evaluations.
  • Provide necessary documentation for invoice processing to the COTR.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules and budgets, offering technical guidance on contracting and construction issues.
  • Ensure project objectives are met efficiently while optimizing performance, cost, and timelines.
  • Utilize MAXIMO for project generation, facilitating design review workflows and ensuring compliance during project closeout.
  • Compile Contractor Performance Reports (CPR) upon project completion.
Qualifications
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required; alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent with five (5) years of relevant experience may be accepted.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to five percent (5%) as directed by the client.
Certifications:
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License and eligibility for an International Driver's License.
  • Current U.S. Passport.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph; candidates may undergo a security investigation.
Experience:
  • A minimum of ten (10) years in project management.
  • Five (5) years of experience with project management software such as MS Project.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Access, and SharePoint.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of effective program management techniques.
Skills:
  • Proficient in MS Project or similar project management software like MAXIMO.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in briefing senior officials.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, team-building, and presentation skills.
Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as operational needs dictate.

Supervisory/Budget Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a diverse team of professionals.
  • Assist Client and Project Managers in planning, programming, budgeting, and executing project schedules.
Additional Requirements:
  • Potential travel to various locations, including remote and operationally-sensitive environments.
  • Ability to perform tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Competence in using standard office equipment and functioning in both office and field environments.
