The Senior Project Manager (PM) is responsible for directing and supervising the execution of tasks throughout all stages of the project lifecycle related to construction initiatives. This role entails overseeing project design or construction activities, assessing contractor performance, coordinating with on-site personnel, and managing project change requests effectively.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must be U.S. citizens and possess a current, adjudicated, and active TS/SCI security clearance along with a Full-Scope polygraph.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee project design and/or construction activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and daily management.
- Assess and monitor contractor performance in construction projects.
- Facilitate coordination between project teams and field personnel.
- Review, validate, and manage requests for project changes.
- Deliver official weekly updates on project status.
- Prepare and disseminate project communications to clients, management, integrated teams, and stakeholders.
- Support the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) in planning and executing acquisition strategies.
- Assist in conducting pre-bid and pre-construction site evaluations.
- Provide necessary documentation to the COTR for payment processing.
- Develop and oversee project schedules and budgets, offering technical guidance on contracting and construction matters; direct design efforts and recommend approval of construction documents.
- Enhance performance, cost efficiency, and scheduling to meet project objectives effectively.
- Utilize MAXIMO for project generation, ensuring compliance with design review workflows and project closeout requirements.
- Compile Contractor Performance Reports (CPR) upon project completion.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required; alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent with five (5) years of relevant experience may suffice.
- Certifications: Valid U.S. Driver's License and the ability to obtain an International Driver's License; a valid U.S. Passport; a current, adjudicated, and active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years in project management, with at least five (5) years of experience using MS Project or similar project management software.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Access, and SharePoint; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in briefing senior officials; ability to analyze, prioritize, and resolve issues effectively.
- Leadership Abilities: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality results; demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
- Willingness to travel to various locations, including remote and operationally-sensitive environments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as necessary.
