Role Summary

vTech Solution is seeking a meticulous and process-oriented Senior IT Project Coordinator to lead a significant IT initiative supporting the Division of Consolidated Laboratory Services (DCLS). This role entails overseeing the deployment of clinical and environmental laboratory information management systems (LIMS), ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and clarify roles and responsibilities, fostering constructive engagement from all participants.
  • Proactively manage project tasks to ensure adherence to the established timeline.
  • Gather and synthesize requirements from diverse user groups into a cohesive requirements document.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, securing necessary approvals and tracking scope modifications.
  • Communicate project developments and changes to stakeholders and upper management.
  • Establish project objectives and devise plans to achieve them.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for seamless project execution.
  • Oversee multiple related projects throughout their lifecycle to ensure success defined by scope, budget, and timeline adherence.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and ensure thorough documentation of progress and outcomes.
  • Provide timely status updates reflecting project progress, challenges, and risks.
  • Identify potential risks and impacts proactively, collaborating with stakeholders to address concerns.
  • Consult with the project team on all facets of project management, ensuring compliance with established policies and standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience as an IT Project Coordinator.
  • Extensive knowledge of agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
  • Experience with the RFP process is essential.
  • Familiarity with Planview Enterprise 1 or similar Portfolio and Project Management tools is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps or other Agile Project Management tools is required.
  • PMI certification as a Project Manager is mandatory.
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems is highly desirable.
