Job Summary:

Serves as the first point of contact for patients entering the medical facility, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check-in patients, verifying information and scheduling appointments.
  • Update Electronic Health Records (EHR) and facilitate intake procedures, including completion of healthcare and insurance forms.
  • Collect payments for services and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Adhere to organizational, local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.

Requirements:

  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
  • 1 year of recent relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of insurance policies and procedures, as well as patient billing.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills.
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Work Environment:

Day/Evening shifts, Full-time, 8 hours/day, Monday-Friday, As Needed.
