Overview:
The Aquatic Facility Attendant is tasked with upholding safety regulations within all aquatic environments. The primary focus is on the upkeep and sanitation of pool and deck areas.

Must be capable of comprehending and responding to emergency protocols; oversees the safety and security of all pool patrons and is responsible for documenting and reporting any safety or incident issues.


This role also involves delivering exceptional service in alignment with the values and mission of the Castle Group.

All responsibilities should be executed while exemplifying outstanding customer service skills that reflect Castle Royal Service.

This includes collaboration with various departments and external clients.

Responsibilities:
Ensures the cleanliness of the pool area by collecting poolside litter and arranging chairs/lounges.

Maintains a tidy and hygienic pool environment and water quality at all times, performing routine vacuuming and cleaning of the pool.

Guarantees that restrooms are kept neat and clean.

Conducts various chemical tests as required.

Assists in addressing complaints or issues related to the pool and jacuzzi areas.

Monitors the inventory of all pool maintenance tools.

Oversees the drop-off and pick-up of towels from laundry services.

Contributes to a pleasant atmosphere for the enjoyment of property owners and their guests.

Ensures adherence to all safety protocols and procedures while executing duties.

May be assigned additional tasks by the on-site Community Association Manager.

Qualifications:

Education/Training/Certifications/Licenses:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Certification as a Certified Pool Operator may be required.

CPR and/or Lifeguard certification may also be necessary.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
Preferred experience of one (1) to two (2) years in a related field. Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices is essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Computer literacy:
Intermediate proficiency in computer hardware/software is necessary, particularly with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience in website maintenance is a plus.

Language requirements:
Bilingual candidates are preferred but not mandatory.

Travel and availability requirements:
Occasional travel for training sessions off-site may be required. Flexibility to cover for site staff when necessary is expected.

Ability to work extended hours and weekends, and to respond to emergencies promptly and responsibly.

Physical Requirements:


Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.; work in an upright standing or sitting position for extended periods, which may vary.

Capable of handling, grasping, and lifting objects and packages. Reach with hands and arms, communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information.

Ability to navigate the property/building swiftly as required to fulfill job functions; complete all necessary documentation.

The majority of the work will be conducted outdoors in a non-temperature controlled environment with moderate noise levels.
