Salary Range
The expected base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $175,000, depending on experience, skills, education, geographic location, and individual performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
Job Summary
The Director, Global Trade + Omni Channel Marketing will drive retail marketing plans, market meeting presentations, promotional programs, and managing visual weeks for key retail partners, aligned with the brand's global strategy. Reporting to the VP of Global Brand Marketing, this role is responsible for the cohesion and consistency of marketing across businesses to best provide an enhanced customer shopping experience that supports all global channel sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance Customer Experience: Enhance the customer experience across all omni-channel touch-points with a strong focus on identifying new opportunities and measuring effectiveness.
- Develop Dynamic Trade Marketing Strategies: Develop and evolve dynamic trade marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and support key brand strategic initiatives.
- Maintain Retailer Relationships: Work closely with Field Sales and Account teams to maintain relationships with retailers, develop business strategies, capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Analyze Promotional Activity: Analyze key promotional activity and retailer event periods to examine ROI and opportunities based on results. Ensure all key learnings are communicated effectively to impact program-making decisions and strategies relevant to drive growth in key accounts.
- Lead Omni Channel Marketing Programs: Lead the development, execution, and analysis of omni-channel marketing program strategies to increase market share. Drive growth and elevate in-store client experience.
- Implement In-Store Events: Work with the Education + Events team to ideate and implement brand-specific, along with retailer-specific high-touch in-store events.
- Evaluate Brand Performance: Evaluate and analyze brand performance to determine the effectiveness of marketing programs, analyze performance, ROI, create action plans, and provide a full report on product launches.
- Monitor Budget Spending: Proactively monitor and analyze budget spending, SKU/category performance, and post-launch analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in retail, trade, or omnichannel marketing in the beauty industry.
- Leadership Experience: 4+ years of leadership experience managing, motivating, and developing a team.
- Beauty Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of the beauty industry, from consumer to retail landscape; previous prestige beauty experience is strongly preferred.
- General Management Mindset: General management mindset with the ability to develop and execute brand-relevant initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, trial, and retention.
- Judgment and Decision-Making: Excellent judgment, maturity, and decision-making skills with integrity and empathy.
- Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
