Position Overview:

As a Store Manager, you will utilize your leadership capabilities to mentor, train, and direct your team to achieve excellence in their roles while maintaining our exceptional quality standards. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will act as their key support and oversee daily operations in their absence. Your leadership will significantly influence overall store performance by exemplifying best practices in account management, marketing, and compliance, all while delivering an unparalleled customer experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor, coach, and oversee Customer Service Team Members to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and Company policies.
  • Evaluate financial transaction risks, process loan/pawn applications, check cashing transactions, and ancillary products accurately.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships while executing inbound and outbound call campaigns to enhance business growth, maintain store profitability, and strengthen brand loyalty.
  • Implement office security measures and manage proper opening and closing procedures, including vault and cash drawer management.
  • Supervise account management and recovery processes, focusing on customer service to mitigate losses and charge-off accounts, including making collection calls.
  • Ensure a compliant work environment that adheres to Company policies and local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct store audits, generate reports, and compile financial data to ensure staff compliance.
  • Maintain the internal and external appearance of the store, addressing basic facility needs and coordinating maintenance services.
  • Assist in managing the store and daily operations in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Adapt and perform efficiently in a rapidly changing environment, managing multiple tasks effectively to meet both individual and team performance goals.
  • Commit to a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends. This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least one year of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience.
  • A minimum of one year in customer service, retail, and/or sales roles.
  • Hands-on experience with cash management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using phone systems, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other relevant systems.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Background check required, subject to applicable law.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods, moving up to 25 pounds, and operating mechanical controls.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, and money order processing.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
