Position Summary:

We are seeking a Finance & Accounting Analyst to join our team at our headquarters. This role is essential in supporting the Finance & Accounting (F&A) team and contributing to the organization's strategic objectives. The F&A Analyst will play a key role in assisting with F&A processes and developing an automation strategy while managing the systems, data, and workflows associated with Finance & Accounting. This position involves reviewing tasks and projects, generating reports, and being a vital member of the F&A team to propose, design, and implement process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements from stakeholders during integrated process team meetings and refine business needs through discussions.
  • Analyze and compile data from various corporate systems, presenting it in a coherent format for informed decision-making.
  • Prepare data, reports, analyses, and findings for leadership review.
  • Examine and document existing F&A business processes, develop future strategies, identify gaps, and collaborate with senior team members to devise solutions.
  • Create presentations for management consideration, tailored to different audiences, utilizing tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Facilitate the creation of business use cases that can be operationalized and automated.
  • Understand the interrelationships of data and information across corporate functions.
  • Collaborate with IT to establish and manage system interfaces.
  • Work alongside other Associate Resources team members, leveraging their expertise to deliver and implement functional initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in financial analysis or accounting is advantageous.
  • Ability to consult with users and subject matter experts to define, gather, and document functional business requirements.
  • Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
  • Effective presentation skills and the ability to respond to inquiries from various audiences.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently with minimal supervision while successfully managing multiple tasks within required timelines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in identifying needs and making recommendations for implementation.
  • High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal, persuasive, and analytical abilities.
