Electrical Project Lead

The Electrical Working Lead will oversee the installation, maintenance, and inspection of electrical projects, systems, and lead team members, including subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a team leader in the execution of electrical work
- Prepare sketches and follow blueprints to ensure concealed wiring is installed before future walls, ceilings, and flooring
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit
- Oversee or participate in wire installation with conduit and cable trays
- Perform routine duties as directed by workplace leaders, including electrical panels and standby generation
- Avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and electrical codes
- Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads
- Observe the functioning of installed equipment or systems to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocations, or replacement
- Install control and distribution apparatus, including switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels
- Test continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety components
- Ability to work independently and lead a team of trade employees and apprentices
- Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers
- Strict adherence to all safety rules and quality
- Participate in site housekeeping
- Interact with all co-workers and clients in an attentive and courteous manner
- 5 years of field experience, journeyman, trade school, or apprenticeship
- OSHA 10 certification
- Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
- Competency in Permit Required Confined Spaces
- Understanding and development of daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
- High-School diploma
- Applicable State Trade License
