Job Overview

Collaborative Therapies Inc is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Intervention Specialist to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities, providing tailored behavioral programming to help them reach their full potential.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing individualized intervention strategies, collecting data on treatment goals, and monitoring progress under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection: Assist in gathering data on client treatment plans, including goal tracking and progress monitoring.
  • Intervention Strategies: Implement behaviorally based interventions to address specific needs, as outlined by the BCBA.
  • Session Planning: Develop and execute session plans that cater to each child's unique goals and requirements.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with our team to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and expand your skillset.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months preferred.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift 30 pounds, sit on floor and child-sized chairs, walk, stand, squat, stoop, and run.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Pay: $40,000 - $50,000 per year (dependent on experience).

  • Paid Time Off: Accrued paid time off for eligible employees working 25 hours or more per week.
