Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team at CALM. As a Child Development Specialist, you will be responsible for providing mental health consultation services to enhance the capacity of teachers, administrators, and caregivers to respond to the social-emotional and behavioral needs of children and their families.

This is a County-wide position servicing Lompoc, Santa Maria, and Santa Barbara. We offer a competitive salary range of $38-52 per hour, depending on experience. This role requires a Master's degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field, with at least two years of experience working with children aged birth to five and two years of experience in a mental health profession.

The ideal candidate will have strong commitment to CALM's mission, vision, and strategic plan, as well as a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required. The successful candidate will also have a valid driver's license, clean DMV record, proof of vehicle insurance, and criminal record clearance from the DOJ.
