**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Child Development Consultant to join our team at CALM. As a Child Development Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting the social-emotional and behavioral needs of children and their families.

You will work closely with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to provide mental health consultation services and implement evidence-based practices to promote healthy child development.

Responsibilities:

  • Mental Health Consultation Services: Provide consultation services to support the implementation of mental health best practices and evidence-based interventions.
  • Observations and Assessments: Conduct observations and assessments to inform classroom culture, daily routines, relationships, transitions, and challenging behaviors.
  • Collaboration with Providers: Meet with providers to develop plans to support social, emotional, and relational well-being.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Master's degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field required; at least two years of experience working with children aged birth to five and at least two years of experience working in a mental health profession.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong commitment to CALM's mission, vision, and strategic plan; strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; must have respect for confidentiality; ability to work with discretion and integrity; strong computer skills, including Microsoft office and web-based systems.

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
