Role Overview
We are in search of a meticulous and proficient Senior Accounting Specialist to become a vital member of our finance team.

In this essential role, the successful applicant will oversee a variety of accounting functions, ensuring precision and effectiveness in our financial operations.

Compensation Range:
$60,000/year - $70,000/year (Based on experience)
Position Responsibilities

- Conduct analysis and reconciliation for general ledger accounts.
- Prepare financial data and reports for monthly internal financial reporting packages.
- Analyze activities in accounts reflected on the balance sheet.
- Review Profit and Loss statements against historical trends and anticipated outcomes.
- Identify necessary monthly adjustment entries from reviews and communicate findings to the Controller.
- Generate internal reports including budgets, cash forecasts, and sales summaries.
- Perform job cost analysis for completed projects and ongoing work.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of functions, processes, and reporting within the organization.
- Conduct analysis on key segments of information and provide actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate on initiatives within the organization to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
- Offer insightful perspectives on current and future projects.
- Assist in the creation, maintenance, and updating of processes to ensure reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to departmental and organizational special projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and auditing principles
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficient understanding of relevant laws, codes, and regulations
- Experience with Power BI for financial and accounting analysis.

COVID-19 Requirements

- Must be fully vaccinated: 2 doses of Pfizer/Moderna or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson, 2 weeks prior or more
