ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Retail Sales Associate plays a vital role in our operations, engaging in both administrative and promotional tasks to elevate the customer experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses strong communication skills. A solid understanding of cannabis products and the ability to inspire enthusiasm among customers is essential for success in this role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Preferred: College Degree
  • Knowledge or experience in the cannabis field is advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Comfortable with public speaking and presentations
  • Personable, enthusiastic, and positive demeanor
  • Strong work ethic with a focus on achieving challenging objectives
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail with minimal errors
  • At least two years of experience in roles involving customer interaction (e.g., sales, customer service, teaching, marketing)
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
  • Access to a registered and insured vehicle

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and update all sales-related administrative tasks accurately, including:
    • Data tracking and reporting
    • Order processing and follow-up
    • Event scheduling and coordination
  • Communicate effectively regarding orders and customer inquiries
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dispensary owners and staff
  • Provide engaging product education and training to sales partners
  • Conduct product demonstrations to promote offerings
  • Assist in the creation and management of marketing materials
  • Participate in networking events and online forums to connect with potential partners
  • Deliver products and samples to retail partners
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Willingness to travel as required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
  • Capable of working on a computer for extended periods
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to drive and travel within designated areas
