Overview:

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Account Specialist within the High Performance Computing and Nuclear Computational Resource Center. This position is integral to our High Performance Computing division, operating on a 9x80 schedule with alternating Fridays off.

Role Summary:

The Nuclear Science and Technology Directorate is in search of an accounts specialist to enhance the operations of the Nuclear Computational Resource Center (NCRC) and the High Performance Computing center. The NCRC is designed to facilitate seamless access to computational tools, high-performance computing (HPC) resources, and comprehensive training. Your contributions will be essential in delivering technical support and optimizing the functionality of both the NCRC and HPC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture collaborative relationships to bolster INL initiatives.
  • Engage in project teams related to designated work scopes and activities.
  • Formulate and oversee the implementation of INL protocol policies, directives, and procedures, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with customer-facing IT components and systems.
  • Exhibit strong technical writing capabilities.
  • Utilize and possess knowledge of LaTex.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2: Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with no prior experience.
  • Level 3: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 2 years of experience.
  • This role necessitates the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.

Compensation Information:

  • The salary range for this position is: Level 2 ($54,876 - $107,064) / Level 3 ($63,528 - $130,284). Compensation decisions at Idaho National Laboratory are based on factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering diversity and contributing to an inclusive workplace is essential.
  • This is a testing designated position; candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug screening and periodic testing throughout their employment.
  • This is a multi-level posting, and placement will be determined based on the depth and breadth of experience and skills.
