This position is situated in our High Performance Computing division, operating on a 9x80 schedule, allowing for every other Friday off.
Role Summary:
The Nuclear Science and Technology Directorate is on the lookout for an Account Specialist to enhance the operations of the Nuclear Computational Resource Center (NCRC) and the High Performance Computing center. The NCRC was created to ensure streamlined access to computational tools, high-performance computing resources, and essential training. Your contributions will be vital in delivering technical support and maintaining efficient operations within both the NCRC and HPC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture collaborative relationships to bolster INL initiatives.
- Engage in collaborative teams focused on designated work scopes and activities.
- Formulate and oversee the implementation of INL protocol policies, directives, and procedures, ensuring compliance with established requirements.
- Demonstrate familiarity with customer-facing IT components and systems.
- Exhibit strong technical writing capabilities.
- Utilize and possess knowledge of LaTex.
Qualifications:
- Level 2: A Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with no prior experience.
- Level 3: A Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
- This role necessitates the ability to obtain and sustain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range for this position is: Level 2 ($54,876 - $107,064) / Level 3 ($63,528 - $130,284). Compensation decisions are based on education, relevant experience, and other credentials.

- This position is designated for testing; candidates will undergo a pre-employment drug screening and periodic testing throughout their employment.
