Nuclear Computational Resource Center Account Manager

Position Overview:
The Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Account Specialist within the High Performance Computing (HPC) and Nuclear Computational Resource Center (NCRC). This position is integral to our HPC department, operating on a 9x80 schedule that allows for every other Friday off.
About the NCRC:
The NCRC has been established to enhance accessibility to advanced computational tools, high-performance computing resources, and comprehensive training. In this role, you will be essential in delivering technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of the NCRC and HPC services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture collaborative relationships to enhance INL initiatives.
- Engage in team activities related to assigned projects and responsibilities.
- Formulate and oversee the implementation of INL protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Demonstrate familiarity with customer-facing IT systems and components.
- Exhibit strong technical writing capabilities.
- Utilize and be proficient in LaTeX.
Qualifications:
- Level 2: A Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with no prior experience.
- Level 3: A Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
- This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, necessitating U.S. Citizenship.
Compensation Information:
- The salary range for this position is as follows: Level 2 ($54,876 - $107,064) / Level 3 ($63,528 - $130,284). Compensation is determined based on education, relevant experience, and other qualifications.
