The Spa Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing appointments, welcoming guests, guiding them to treatment areas, and providing detailed information about spa offerings. This position also facilitates communication regarding spa promotions, guest inquiries, and programs across all relevant departments.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure that reception and retail spaces are impeccably maintained and that common areas of the spa are kept tidy between appointments.
- Possess a thorough understanding of all treatments offered and engage in effective suggestive selling.
- Accurately manage the booking of all spa appointments.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols.
- Process spa reservations and billing, warmly greeting guests upon their arrival and departure.
- Assist with retail operations, including guest support, product displays, suggestive selling, and merchandising.
- Exhibit professionalism and sensitivity towards guests' needs.
- Conduct tours of spa facilities for guests to familiarize them with the offerings.
- Collaborate effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction, communicating all relevant information to management.
- Exercise discretion and sound judgment in all job functions.
- Participate in training sessions, meetings, and designated programs.
- Report maintenance and repair needs to the Engineering department through internal communication systems.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold uniform standards.
- Safeguard confidential information and protect company assets.
- Familiarize oneself with Spa Standards based on a 5-star Forbes rating.
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues and management.
- Manage communication for the Spa Manager and Spa Director, including handling correspondence.
- Organize and maintain filing systems for correspondence and reference materials.
- Complete all required opening and closing tasks.
- Collaborate with other spa staff to create personalized treatment experiences for guests.
- Act as a liaison between the Spa, Housekeeping, and Engineering departments.
- Implement a tracking system to monitor task completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain safe work practices.
- Ability to maintain a positive demeanor and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Professional, adaptable, and optimistic attitude.
- Prior experience in customer service is essential.
- Familiarity with computer systems is required.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Experience with cash handling is necessary.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities to manage various responsibilities simultaneously.
- Polished and professional appearance with strong command of written and spoken English.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
