Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the assembly, installation, and upkeep of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Diagnosing machinery issues and executing routine preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Interpreting and adhering to operational manuals and instructions.
  • Establishing a timetable for the inspection, servicing, and testing of machinery.
  • Executing cleaning, repairs, and installations of equipment and components as necessary.
  • Utilizing a variety of hand and power tools effectively.
  • Ensuring a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Conducting general maintenance tasks on facilities as required.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and transport items of varying weights.
  • Capability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, climb, balance, stand, and walk for extended durations while maintaining physical agility and coordination.
  • Willingness to work in diverse environmental conditions, which may involve exposure to fluctuating temperatures, weather elements, and noise levels.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a comparable position.
  • Familiarity with operating hand and power tools.
  • Mechanical proficiency and the ability to pass a mechanical aptitude assessment.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Good physical coordination.
  • Excellent troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Understanding of health and safety protocols.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.

Process Management Skills:

  • Collaborating effectively as a team member across various functions.
  • Managing both internal and external resources and relationships.
  • Regularly assessing processes and suggesting improvements when necessary.
  • Maintaining open lines of communication throughout the organization.
  • Introducing innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to new challenges.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Employing strong problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques.
