About the Role

Lancaster Medical Practice is seeking a skilled Estates Maintenance Worker to join our Estates & Facilities Team. As an Estates Maintenance Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and continuous operation of our sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake routine maintenance work and minor repair work across the Lancaster Medical Practice estate, as directed.
  • Work with and assist contractors to LMP in preventative and remedial work as required.
  • Provide a first line response service to remedial work requires across the LMP Estate.
  • Undertake water testing responsibilities, as directed, including water temperature checks, outlet flushing and shower maintenance.
  • Undertake routine fire safety checks, as directed, including emergency lighting checks, fire extinguishers and weekly fire alarm call point testing.
  • Investigate failures as directed and identify the repair required.
  • Maintain records of work carried out in line with policies and procedures using FaultFixers software.
  • Carry out site inspections and report any defects noted.
