Job Overview

We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Pacific ExecSearch. This role is essential in aligning our human resources strategies with the overall business goals of the organization. The HR Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing employee engagement, managing performance, overseeing talent acquisition, fostering employee relations, and providing HR consulting services. Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the daily operations of the HR department by assisting HR Business Partners and other HR functions as required.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of policies and HR initiatives in areas such as employee benefits, compensation, training, and HR analytics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with management and staff, offering advice, guidance, and coaching as necessary.
  • Address inquiries and requests from governmental agencies.
  • Evaluate and propose solutions to enhance the effectiveness of HR policies and programs, ensuring fairness and consistency.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to resolve employee relations issues, conducting investigations and working with management on appropriate resolutions.
  • Track absenteeism records and coordinate corrective actions with department managers.
  • Assist in the preparation of offer letters and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Encourage team cohesion through team-building activities and events.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS system.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • PHR Certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with critical thinking skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employee relations and HR practices.
  • Familiarity with recruiting, onboarding, organizational management, and training.
  • In-depth understanding of HR management principles and current employment laws.
  • Exceptional business writing and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and HRIS software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust across the organization.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Integrity and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Effective planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
