Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform CT procedures to produce accurate and detailed images
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy
  • May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department
Requirements
  • Graduation from a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • CA CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire if required at the affiliate
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of diagnostic computerized tomography principles, procedures, views, and equipment
  • Capable of performing routine CT examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Possess written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including prioritizing assignments and working within standardized operating procedures
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems
