Position Overview
The Senior Vice President, Engineering and Market Strategy will oversee engineering teams across the Business & Market Insights product portfolio. This includes areas such as Business Intelligence, Locations, Operational Insights, Targeting Analytics, Test and Learn, Truata, Engines, and Trends.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of strategies across multiple programs that significantly contribute to Mastercard Services.
- Manage the complete business P&L, ensuring revenue and expense targets are met.
- Formulate strategies for organic and inorganic growth of the applications business while enhancing operational quality and efficiency.
- Ensure alignment with overall Services, Technology, and product teams regarding strategic priorities and growth objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential customers and partners at the executive level.

Strategic Engagement
Engage in strategic discussions with customers and partners, showcasing the full range of Mastercard's assets and capabilities while serving as a technical authority in this business area.

Industry Influence
Establish and direct the narrative for influencing industry leaders, government officials, and other stakeholders to drive significant industry changes.

Collaboration and Support
Develop strong internal partnerships to ensure cross-functional alignment and support. Provide ongoing education to the broader team.

Team Development
Build and nurture a global team, implementing optimal engagement and support models to position Mastercard's partnership approach as a strategic advantage.

Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience with enterprise products driven by large-scale data and advanced models, or a deep understanding of the Payments and Fintech sectors.
- Proven track record in leveraging data-driven technology and innovation to achieve results.
- Strong multi-disciplinary knowledge across product development, emerging technologies, business development, marketing, operations, and risk management.
- Ability to cultivate high-quality relationships with C-suite executives and regulatory agencies.
- Strong technical expertise, including in relational and non-relational databases, cloud application development, programming languages, and software architecture.

Leadership Skills
- Experience in managing large engineering teams with a focus on execution excellence.
- Strong consultative problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional presentation and communication abilities, capable of navigating a complex global organization.
