Administrative Coordinator to the Vice President for University Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Support Specialist to provide exceptional administrative support to the Vice President for University Services at Point Loma Nazarene University.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level administrative support to the Vice President, including reception of university inquiries, visitors, and phone calls.
- Assist with the administration of events and activities hosted by the Vice President, including management and oversight of the process as needed.
- Act as liaison to the Office of Marketing and Creative Services for the Vice President, facilitating new signage for all campuses and communication services for marketing materials as needed.
- Edit and draft documents, newsletters, and other materials as requested.
- Provide administrative support, including check requests, account transfers, purchase order requests, editing, printing, drafting letters, creating spreadsheets, and ordering office supplies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Experience in event or program coordination preferred.
- A positive and professional attitude, and strong team building and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in an environment of frequent interruptions.
- Administrative experience, including core competencies in Google and Microsoft Suites.
- Understanding of and commitment to the spiritual mission of the university.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize projects.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to compose correspondence using correct English, spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, format, and etiquette.
- Ability to learn additional administrative tools.
- Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement.
