We are seeking a Cloud Security Response Specialist to enhance our client support. This role involves developing and maintaining detection strategies to identify unauthorized activities within cloud environments. The specialist will also contribute to incident investigations and assist in the design and implementation of innovative defensive cybersecurity tools tailored for cloud computing.

The responsibilities of the selected candidate will include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating detection strategies specifically aimed at identifying unauthorized activities in cloud environments utilizing existing cloud defense tools.
  • Supporting the investigation and response to cybersecurity incidents related to cloud technologies.
  • Collaborating with clients to design and deploy new capabilities within cloud infrastructures.
  • Demonstrating success by effectively identifying and mitigating Red Team activities in the cloud environment.
  • Updating tactics, techniques, procedures, and training documentation as necessary.
  • Preparing and delivering training sessions covering fundamental Cloud Computing security principles, common attack scenarios, and specific tactics and procedures.
  • Providing support to maintain the client's Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) accreditation in accordance with established standards, including documentation and technical writing assistance.

Qualifications

  • A degree in a technical or management-related field.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Testing & Evaluation, or Assessment & Authorization.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent may be acceptable with over seven years of experience in the relevant fields, including familiarity with Information Assurance tools.
  • This position is critical and requires reporting during adverse weather conditions, power outages, and other emergencies.
  • The selected applicant must possess a current IAT Level III certification and maintain compliance with IAT Level III standards.
  • An active DoD TS/SCI clearance is mandatory for this position, and the applicant may undergo a security investigation to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
