Sentar is in search of a Cloud Security Response Specialist to assist in an ongoing government contract that provides Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) functions. This role will contribute to the government's objective of disrupting, denying, and degrading the capabilities of network adversaries to interfere with the IT services offered to network users.

Role Overview:

The Cloud Security Response Specialist will create and uphold detection use cases aimed at identifying unauthorized activities. They will also support incident investigations and aid the client in designing and implementing new defensive cybersecurity tools within cloud computing environments.

The selected candidate will engage in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Crafting detection use cases specifically tailored to identify unauthorized activities in cloud computing settings utilizing the client's existing cloud defense mechanisms.
  • Supporting the investigation and response to cybersecurity incidents involving cloud technologies.
  • Assisting the client in designing and deploying new capabilities within cloud computing frameworks.
  • Demonstrating success by effectively identifying and mitigating Red Team activities in the client's cloud environment.
  • Updating tactics, techniques, procedures, training, and educational documentation as necessary.
  • Preparing and delivering a course that covers the fundamentals of Cloud Computing security, prevalent attack scenarios, and specific tactics, techniques, processes, and procedures.
  • Providing support to maintain the client's CSSP accreditation according to the standards, including documentation and technical writing assistance.
Qualifications:

Clearance Level: Top Secret Clearance, SCI eligible

Certifications:
  • Possess DoDD 8570 CSSP Analyst certification: CEH, CFR, CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, GICSP, Cloud+, SCYBER, PenTest+
  • Possess DoDD 8570 IAT Level III certification.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related IT field, or at least five years of proven experience in building and maintaining detection use cases for unauthorized activities in those environments.

Experience:
  • A minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in incident investigation within cloud environments.
  • Experience managing national state-level intrusions.
