Commercial Account Management Director

Procore Technologies is seeking a seasoned Director, Commercial Account Management to lead our Sales team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth, expand our customer base, and foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, a deep understanding of the construction industry, and excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for mentoring and leading a team of Sales Managers, collaborating with Sales Enablement, Marketing, and Customer Success to create effective sales strategies, and driving a high-performance culture to meet and exceed sales goals.
This role reports to the AVP, Commercial Sales, and offers the opportunity to work remotely from any US location. We are looking for a candidate who can start immediately and make a significant impact on our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Sales Managers to work with Procore's customer base to renew and expand customer accounts
- Implement and optimize processes to enhance team performance, efficiency, and product knowledge
- Collaborate with Customer Success Management to ensure client satisfaction
- Attract, hire, and retain high-performing Sales Managers and Account Executives by driving a performance culture within the team
- Provide ongoing training and support to the team, ensuring they understand their roles, Procore's products, and effective sales strategies
- Conduct regular reviews of team performance, pipelines, and deals, offering guidance and support to help close deals
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting on the team's performance as well as accurate forecasts to sales leadership based on individual performance and historical trends
- Quarterly travel to client onsite visits
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years in a quota-carrying software sales experience (preferably in a SaaS environment)
- 5+ years management experience in a Second Line Leadership role
- Track record in hiring, developing, and promoting sales representatives and leaders from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to sell through thorough discovery, value selling, and a rigorous sales process
- Experience using and implementing a sales methodology and demonstrated experience with Salesforce
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver a persuasive business message to channel partners, end users, and sales leadership
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, results-oriented, team-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic
What We Offer:
Base Pay Range $168,000 - $231,000 plus commission for an estimated on-target earnings of $280,000 - $385,000. This role is also eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
