**Job Summary**

Cianbro is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Civil Construction Supervisor to lead our daily activities in safely producing a quality, cost-efficient work product consistent with the project goals and the expected standards established by Cianbro and our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and work in accordance with the overall project schedule and budget, ensuring timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with project supervision on a daily basis to communicate production goals, quality specifications, and discuss issues that have surfaced, such as people, means, and methods, material or equipment use, and extra or out-of-scope work.
  • Participate in planning means and methods to optimize project outcomes.
  • Accurately record and report crew work hours and quantities installed, monitoring and managing crew productivity to ensure ongoing improvements.
  • Analyze production results and establish corrective actions as needed.
  • When rework is required, help the team learn from mistakes and accurately record costs.
  • Forecast equipment, materials, or workforce needs as required, ensuring all necessary resources are available when needed.
  • Seek solutions to special requests or problems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Use Activity Planning to effectively plan, organize, and communicate specific details of work, signing off on all plans.
  • Understand the project cost code structure related to work activities.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of heavy civil construction projects.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a heavy civil environment.
  • Ability to read and understand contract and shop drawings and have competency with all fabrication equipment and processes.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and communicate in a timely, effective manner.
