We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Administrator to join our team at Administrative Portillos Hot Dogs LLC. Key Responsibilities- Manage benefits administration, including eligibility, enrollment, and billing processes
- Collaborate with vendors and team members to understand and promote benefits
- Independently troubleshoot issues and resolve problems related to health and welfare plans, eligibility, life events, enrollment, and systems
- Administer the Leave of Absence and ADA process, including managing vendor relationships and communicating with team members and leadership
- Manage benefit billing to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments
- Oversee the administration of 401(k) and Non-Qualified Retirement Plans, including auditing, compliance, and reporting requirements
- Manage the time off program, including policy creation, administration, auditing, and ensuring compliance with state and city requirements
- Respond to escalated benefits issues and ensure timely resolution
- Contribute to the annual Open Enrollment process, including planning, implementation, and communications
- Serve as the HCM system expert for benefits, time off, and leave modules, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Lead new benefit implementations and manage voluntary benefits programs
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of benefits administration experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organization and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactics
- Proven initiative-taker with flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, ERISA, Section 125, and COBRA
