Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee branch service, sales, and operational functions to meet strategic objectives in collaboration with the Branch Manager.
- Provide significant input on hiring, performance assessments, promotions, and employee terminations.
- Responsible for the training, coaching, and development of team members.
- Address and resolve client service challenges, including complex complaints and inquiries.
- Supervise the work of team members to ensure optimal performance.
- Recommend employee status changes, manage grievances, and enforce disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and adherence to bank policies and safety standards.
- Lead by example in sales initiatives while overseeing sales and service activities.
- Exercise discretion in approvals and overrides within designated authority.
- Participate in planning for operational, sales, and customer experience objectives.
- Investigate operational issues, including loss and fraud, and resolve significant matters on behalf of the organization.
- Act as a representative of the branch in managing complaints and resolving disputes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail banking, sales, customer service, or related fields.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Familiarity with banking processes, regulations, and products is essential.
- Understanding of lending processes and procedures is beneficial.
- Strong skills in customer service, relationship building, sales, and management are necessary.
- Ability to address and resolve various client concerns effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
- Capacity to maintain high-quality work standards and lead a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills are essential.
