Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee branch service, sales, and operational functions to meet strategic objectives in collaboration with the Branch Manager.
  • Provide significant input on hiring, performance assessments, promotions, and employee terminations.
  • Responsible for the training, coaching, and development of team members.
  • Address and resolve client service challenges, including complex complaints and inquiries.
  • Supervise the work of team members to ensure optimal performance.
  • Recommend employee status changes, manage grievances, and enforce disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and adherence to bank policies and safety standards.
  • Lead by example in sales initiatives while overseeing sales and service activities.
  • Exercise discretion in approvals and overrides within designated authority.
  • Participate in planning for operational, sales, and customer experience objectives.
  • Investigate operational issues, including loss and fraud, and resolve significant matters on behalf of the organization.
  • Act as a representative of the branch in managing complaints and resolving disputes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail banking, sales, customer service, or related fields.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Familiarity with banking processes, regulations, and products is essential.
  • Understanding of lending processes and procedures is beneficial.
  • Strong skills in customer service, relationship building, sales, and management are necessary.
  • Ability to address and resolve various client concerns effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Capacity to maintain high-quality work standards and lead a team effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills are essential.
