Job Summary:

The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility. This position ensures oversight and safety of the residents, supervision and direction of the direct support staff, and ensures the facility meets the Department of Licensing and Protection regulations for licensed facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the care and treatment for residents in a therapeutic residential setting, focusing on client-centered treatment, harm reduction, and fostering an environment of acceptance and change.
Provide support and supervision to direct care staff, incorporating current best practices, including trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, contingency management, stages of change, and other dual diagnoses.
Oversee the physical plant in accordance with established regulations, ensuring compliance with Division of Licensing and Protection or other authorities.
Act as the manager of record with the Division of Licensing, advocating for and communicating treatment needs of residents and concerns to providers as necessary.
Attend treatment team, residential leadership, and program meetings as required, managing administrative tasks, such as scheduling, reviewing and approving staff timesheets and work-related expenses, covering unstaffed shifts, petty cash, supply ordering, and training new staff.

Requirements:

Associate's degree in human services or a related field, or three years of general experience in a human services-related field.
Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field preferred.
Ability to manage situations of increasing complexity and rapidly changing priorities, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate with diverse individuals, including clients, family members, community members, and diffuse escalated interactions using industry best practices.
Experience managing staff on a 24/7/365 schedule, both in person and virtually, with a willingness to work flexible hours.
Clean driving record and access to a safe, reliable, and insured vehicle for work-related travel required.
Ability to navigate an office setting with or without accommodations, walk up to one mile in one continuous session without accommodations, drive in community settings without accommodations, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds without accommodations.
