Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate business office operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial records, including resident information and personnel data.
- Establish and maintain filing systems for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and resident information.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily and weekly Key Statistics Reporting.
- Provide backup assistance for AP/Payroll functions and assist with the processing of accounts payable and payroll.
- Manage the set-up and maintenance of resident files and resident trust accounts.
- Reconcile cash receipts journal to the monthly deposit log and send a copy to the Home Office.
- Supervise and maintain resident files and resident trust accounts, including recording deposits, making payments, and reconciling resident trust accounts.
- Monitor and collect accounts receivable and prepare monthly reports for quarterly AR reviews.
- Supervise the scheduling of office personnel and work assignments.
- Ensure consistent adherence to established procedures for cost control regarding supplies and purchase order policies and procedures.
- Monitor, maintain, and ensure office supplies inventory.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college graduate or some college classes preferred.
- Two (2) years' experience in a supervisory, accounts receivable, payroll, or accounts payable environment.
- Experience in Medicaid/Medicare, healthcare, senior living industry, pharmacy, or long-term care environment preferred.
- Exemplary computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
