Job Title: Business Office Manager

Liberty Station Health Campus is seeking a highly skilled Business Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our health campus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the business office staff, supervising administrative functions, and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the business office staff, including scheduling, work assignments, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date filing systems for accounts receivable, accounts payable, resident information, and personnel data.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily and weekly Key Statistics Reporting.
  • Set up and maintain resident files in accordance with company standards.
  • Manage the setup and maintenance of residents in the Accounts Receivable system.
  • Reconcile cash receipts journal to the monthly deposit log and send a copy to the Home Office.
  • Supervise and maintain resident trust accounts, including recording deposits, making payments, reconciling the account monthly, and sending a copy of the reconciliation to the Home Office.
  • Monitor and collect accounts receivable, preparing a monthly report for quarterly AR reviews with the Executive Director and Business Office Support.
  • Assist in the standardization of methods for accomplishing work and ensure consistent adherence to established procedures for cost control regarding supplies and purchase order policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory, ensuring an adequate but not over-stocked inventory.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college graduate or some college classes preferred.
  • Two (2) years experience in a supervisory, accounts receivable, payroll, or accounts payable environment; Medicaid/Medicare, healthcare, senior living industry, pharmacy, or long-term care environment preferred.
  • Exemplary computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
