Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our health campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating the business office functions, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and supervise the business office staff and administrative functions for the health campus.
  • Establish and maintain filing systems for accounts receivable, accounts payable, resident information, and personnel information.
  • Ensure daily and weekly Key Statistics Reporting is completed timely and accurately.
  • Provide back-up assistance for AP/Payroll functions.
  • Supervise the processing of accounts payable and payroll within the required deadlines.
  • Manage the set-up and maintenance of resident's files in accordance with company standards.
  • Manage month-end billing processes for all payer classes in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Reconcile cash receipts journal to the monthly deposit log and send a copy to the Home Office at each month end.
  • Supervise and maintain resident files and resident trust accounts.
  • Allocate interest earned to the resident accounts timely and accurately.
  • Issue resident trust statements in accordance with regulations.
  • Monitor and collect accounts receivable.
  • Prepare monthly report for quarterly AR reviews with Executive Director and Business Office Support.
  • Supervise the scheduling of office personnel, work assignments, etc.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to established procedures for cost control regarding supplies and purchase order policies and procedures.
  • Monitor, maintain, and ensure office supplies inventory.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • College graduate or some college classes preferred.
  • Two (2) years' experience in a supervisory, accounts receivable, payroll, or accounts payable environment.
  • Medicaid/Medicare, healthcare, senior living industry, pharmacy, or long-term care environment preferred.
  • Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
