Position Overview:

At Cafe Sevilla, the Tapas Mixologist role is pivotal in creating an unforgettable experience for our guests through exceptional service and a deep understanding of Sevilla's vibrant culture, music, and culinary offerings.

This role necessitates a commitment to mastering Sevilla's unique cultural elements through hands-on training and self-directed learning.

The ability to effectively convey Sevilla's distinctive features to our patrons, enhance our workplace atmosphere, and adhere to company, state, and federal regulations are essential for success in this position.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and showcase Sevilla's exquisite culinary creations, distinctive beverages, and ongoing specials, adhering to the Company's Service Standards. The aim is to educate guests about the rich food, wines, and cultural heritage of Spain.
  • Implement the Sevilla Service Standards specific to this role.
  • Utilize daily Opening and Closing Checklists to ensure all procedures are completed efficiently.
  • Strive to deliver the ultimate guest experience and foster customer loyalty.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and respond promptly to guest inquiries or requests.
  • Ensure accurate food and beverage entries are made in accordance with Aloha policies and procedures.
  • Assess the quality of all items served, ensuring that only food and drinks of the highest standards are presented.
  • Prepare beverages according to Sevilla's specific recipes and expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring that all surfaces are free of dirty dishes, utensils, and waste.
  • Handle payment transactions for all food and beverages served, following cash handling protocols and reporting any discrepancies immediately.
  • Address routine guest concerns as per Sevilla's guidelines, escalating non-routine issues to management without delay.
  • Uphold the cleanliness and appearance of all work areas and complete all end-of-night tasks as required.
  • Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies to protect both the establishment and its patrons.
  • Report any maintenance, security, or safety concerns to a Manager promptly.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.
  • Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Accurately clock in and out for each shift, following proper procedures for breaks and meal periods.
  • Take scheduled breaks in accordance with Company Policy.
  • Participate in all mandatory staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Report any incidents of harassment, discrimination, or safety concerns to management immediately.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are required:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, fine dining environment, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Certifications: Current Food Handler's Card and LEAD Card.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Company POS and timekeeping systems.
