Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and educate guests about Sevilla's culinary offerings, specialty beverages, and current promotions, following the established service protocols.
  • Adhere to the specific service guidelines associated with this role.
  • Utilize daily checklists to ensure all opening and closing tasks are completed.
  • Strive to create exceptional guest experiences that encourage repeat visits.
  • Execute all elements of the Banquet Event Order accurately and consult with management when clarification is needed.
  • Prepare the banquet/event space according to the specifications provided by the Event Coordinator/Manager.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests.
  • Ensure compliance with food and beverage entry procedures, maintaining accuracy in all orders.
  • Assess the quality of all served items, ensuring they meet presentation and quality standards.
  • Maintain table cleanliness and organization throughout the event.
  • Process payments for all food and beverages served, following cash handling protocols.
  • Address routine guest concerns in line with company standards, escalating non-routine issues to management.
  • Keep all work areas and side tasks organized and up to standard.
  • Complete all end-of-shift duties and ensure sign-off by a manager.
  • Follow proper checkout procedures and report any discrepancies.
  • Adhere to safety, sanitation, and alcohol control policies to protect guests and the establishment.
  • Stay informed about best practices relevant to this role.
  • Complete all required training and assessments.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment by maintaining a positive attitude and working well with colleagues.
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management immediately.
  • Comply with uniform standards as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and engage with guests to ensure satisfaction.

Additional Duties:
  • Accurately clock in and out for each shift, following company protocols.
  • Take breaks in accordance with company policy, ensuring meal periods are observed as required.
  • Participate in all mandatory staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Report any incidents of harassment, discrimination, or safety concerns to management immediately.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, fine dining environment or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with state and federal safety and sanitation regulations.

Certifications:
  • Current Food Handler's Card.
  • LEAD Card.
  • ServSafe Certification.

Work Environment:
