Position: Roofing Estimator

Are you a proficient Roofing Estimator with expertise in premium, custom roofing systems? We are seeking a committed individual to manage various projects, from conception to completion, ensuring that transparency, excellence, and integrity are integral to our operations.

If you excel at interpreting blueprints, estimating expenses, and guaranteeing high-quality project delivery, this role may be ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive Estimating: Conduct thorough estimates for residential projects, encompassing shingle, tile, and metal roofing systems.
  • Blueprint Examination: Review requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to fully understand the project scope.
  • Cost Analysis: Identify production elements that affect costs and keep current market pricing for materials in the estimating system.
  • Job Cost Reporting: Create and present job cost reports to management, ensuring precise and transparent financial tracking.
  • Vendor & Contractor Engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure project success.
  • Project Transition: Facilitate hand-off meetings with assigned project managers to guarantee smooth project execution.

Requirements (Must-Have):
  • Experience: Strong proficiency in roofing software and experience with high-end roofing systems.
  • Education: An associate degree in Construction or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with The Edge estimating software is advantageous. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for residential projects.
