Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to work with high-end, custom roof systems, which often feature complicated roofs with valleys, flat sections, and multi-story components. As a Roofing Estimator, you will take an aerial view roof report and create an estimate that details the labor and material needed to complete the job.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed estimates for residential projects (shingle, tile & metal)
  • Analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project
  • Determine what factors of production will influence the cost
  • Maintain current market pricing for materials in the estimating system
  • Generate job cost reports
  • Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors
  • Perform hand-off meetings with assigned project managers
  • Presentation of prepared estimates to management
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Construction or similar field, preferred
  • Familiarity with The Edge estimating software, a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workflow
  • Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for residential projects
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
